Faculty has a pain point, struggles with how to engage students online.  The instructional services team at the institution directs them to the Hotline landing page.

Faculty Requests Consultation

Faculty is sent an email confirming the appointment and asked to complete a brief questionnaire that is intended to help the Learning Designer prepare prior to the appointment.

Faculty Identifies Needs

An action plan is drafted by the Learning Designer and sent to the faculty as a follow-up after the call. This action plan will include further asynchronous tools training based upon implementation needs of the plan.

Tools Training

Learning Designer checks back at an agreed upon time with faculty asynchronously to check on implementation and answer further questions.

On our website, faculty books an appointment.  In addition, the site provides access to self-help resources.
